History & Philosophy

Having promoted the Whitsundays to German language speaking travelers since 25 years, this website is the latest addition to the publications of GLANN. Using our deep understanding of the needs of this traveler group we aim to compliment the professional services already available to visitors of our region. As native speakers of the German language we not only understand the culture of this tourist group, we also act as a link to local businesses since we also speak fluently English.

Bring the big ships in
Hannes Scheibrein, Wien, Austria
We always tried to convince our readers and visitors that there is something for everyone do see and to do in the Whitsundays.
In 1995 we succesfully promoted the Whitsundays as a stopover destination to Landmark South Pacific, the inbound operator for all German cruise ships.
